Being a safe, professional truck driver is a 24/7/365 job that includes daily responsibilities, as well as training and re-training, reviewing the basics and learning new skills. That kind of dedication pays off, however, at Covenant Transport, where opportunities for career advancement are available "beyond the wheel" of the truck. Covenant Transport believes in empowering exceptional drivers to grow and excel and entrusts them with new challenges and opportunities, including the following.

COVENANT AWARD PROGRAMS

Million Milers40 Club
40 CLUB & 80 CLUB
Drivers who have driven either one million (40 Club) or two million (80 Club) consecutive, accident-free miles with Covenant Transport become members of the 40 or 80 Club. 40 Club members have driven the equivalent of 40 times around the globe without an accident, and 80 Club members have driven the equivalent of 80 times around the globe without an accident. To date, 53 Covenant drivers have been inducted into the 40 Club, and six in the 80 Club. That’s 65 million accident-free miles, or the distance of 2,600 times around the globe for these drivers alone, and many other Covenant drivers have driven thousands of accident-free miles.

State Driving Championship Competitions
Drivers who have remained employed by Covenant during the 12 months preceding spring and summer state driving championships, and were accident-free during that period, are eligible to apply to compete in state championships. Covenant drivers have earned top awards in state championships and have gone on to compete at the national level.

State and National Road Team Captains

Road team captains represent the company and the industry to the public through safety presentations at schools and civic events. In 2011, Barbara Schultz and Frank Bradley are serving as Tennessee Trucking Association Road Team Captains, and Frank Silio continues his service as an American Trucking Associations’ America’s Road Team Captain.
