Covenant’s Independent Contractors are supported by the best programs and staff on the road. We hire both OTR Teams and Solos and Teams and Solos for our Dedicated runs. We hire both OTR Teams and Solos as well as Dedicated Teams and Solos.

- PAY: Call for details: 866-609-3620.
- FUEL SURCHARGE: 100% reimbursement of fuel surcharge billed the previous month.
$.90 reimbursement of fuel surcharge billed the previous month (Dedicated).
- TEAMS: Extra mileage pay on ALL loads for Hazmat-endorsed (both drivers) teams
- - Additional pay on placarded loads for Hazmat-endorsed (both drivers) teams
- SOLOS: Extra pay on placarded loads for Hazmat-endorsed solos
- SAFETY BONUS: Up to $.01 on all paid miles (must meet requirements)
- INSURANCE & RETIREMENT: Available
- BASE PLATES & PERMITS: Furnished

- - Live within our driver hiring area (found here)
- - Have a valid Class A CDL
- - Be at least 21 yrs of age
- - Have 6 months of verifiable interstate tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 12 months
- - Obtain Hazmat endorsement within 6 months of hire
- - Verifiable employment for the past 3 yrs
- - No more than 3 moving violations in past 3 yrs (no reckless driving in last 3 yrs)
- - No more than 1 preventable accident in a motor vehicle in last 3 yrs
- - No DUI, drug/alcohol-related motor vehicle incidents in last 5 yrs (no more than 1 total and none as
a CDL-endorsed driver)
- - No drug/violent felony convictions within past 10 yrs—no current parole or arrest warrants
- - No license suspensions in the last 12 months—no more than one in last 3 yrs
- - No speeding citations of 15 mph or above in last 12 months
- - Must pass drug test, DOT/Covenant physical and Covenant Physical Aptitude Test and meet DOT
